Atlanta-Based Vocalist Monique Curry Joins Springfield Indie Soul Festival 2025 Lineup

Springfield, MA — The Springfield Indie Soul Festival 2025 is thrilled to announce that Atlanta-based vocalist Monique Curry will be joining its dynamic lineup. Known for her soulful voice and captivating stage presence, Curry has garnered a loyal following across Georgia and beyond. She will take the stage alongside festival headliners jazz saxophonist Andre Ward and R&B artist Natasha Ramos, celebrated for her collaborations with Jennifer Lopez and regional R&B sensation Malik James. 

Adding to the excitement, the festival has also named Jarreau Pitts and The Pitts Campaign as its official house band. Renowned for their electrifying, genre-defying performances, the band will provide a seamless musical foundation throughout the event, amplifying the festival’s signature energy. 

Scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, at King Philip’s Stockade in Forest Park, the Springfield Indie Soul Festival enters its 17th year as a cornerstone of the New England cultural scene. With live music, unique vendors, cultural exhibits, and a vibrant sense of community, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience for all attendees. 

Monique Curry: A Star on the Rise 

Festival co-founder Darryl E. Moss shared his excitement about Curry’s addition to the lineup: 

“Monique Curry embodies the heart and soul of indie music. Her voice carries a depth and authenticity that moves audiences, and we are thrilled to have her bring her magic to the Springfield Indie Soul Festival.” 

Curry’s performance is expected to be a standout moment, blending her signature style with the festival’s celebration of indie artistry and soulful traditions.

In addition to its exciting musical lineup, the festival will feature a diverse range of performances, from soul-stirring R&B to thought-provoking spoken word. An African-centered art exhibit will further enrich the event, highlighting the rich history and cultural significance of the Black experience.
